I'm looking for a decent club in either Tampa or Orlando to go to tonight (friday). I'm in Lakeland, so it's just about the same drive to either city.

Not looking for top 40, techno, or cheesy.

I listen to 80's/new wave/industrial/trip hop...something in that vein. I've been tryin to find something via the internet, but not having much luck. Seems a lot of clubs haven't updated their pages in years.

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried Disney Pleasure Island? There are a few clubs there, each have there own kinda theme. Manniquins is the most recent, common music type of club with a dance floor that moves. Its really up to date compared to the other clubs there (such as the 70 and 80's themed one) but you can buy a ticket that you can use in all the clubs and just kinda club hop. Good Luck.

Edit: Heres the link, describes all the clubs and gives directions:

Downtown Orlando. You should be able to find exactly what your looking for.
The lodge plays lots of 80's/early 90's music.
BBQ Bar across the street has 3 sections of sifferent music. If neither of those work for ya there are about 25 more places within blocks that you can easily walk to.

101.5 and 100.7 are the radio stations taht play your stuff...try their websites since Radio stations sponsor club nights are all the time...

I can tell you that 93.3 has played 80's as well as 98.7 and 95.7 but it's more R&B, club and stuff.
