That's the phonetic alphabet, not police, developed by the military for radio communications..alpha, bravo, charlie, delta, echo, foxtrot, golf, hotel, india, juliette, kilo, lima, mike, novermber, oscar, poppa, quebec, romeo, sierra, tango, uniform, victor, whiskey, xray, yankee, zulu :)
