I've been a stay at home mom for 16yrs. I've never had a job. My youngest child goes to school next year and I would like to find something I could do from home. I;ve been looking on line but I don't know whats ligit and whats not! And most of the stuff I've found they want an arm and a leg to do it. Is there any ligit way l can make $ at home without spending $ I don't have?

I'm sorry, but it is very unrealistic to expect to find a telecommuting job when you haven't ever had a job. What qualifications can you offer? It's very difficult to find a legitimate job working from home. Never pay anyone to work from home - that's called a scam.

If you've volunteered in your children's schools, perhaps they can offer you a paying part-time position or at least references for a paying job. If you have learned skills, like typing and computer skills, try temp agencies, some of which offer training to further your skills. I wish you the best of luck in your job search - I've been out of the job force as a stay-at-home mom for 7 years but I have tons of clerical/customer service skills and I'm a freelance writer/novelist and I'm finding it very difficult to find a job. Hang in there.
