Sorry for the second post, I forgot to ask something.

Can an evap line be colored? It is definately the same color blue as the other line, but the line fades as it goes down, unlike the picture on the box.

Regina, it sounds like you're pregnant. A positive is a positive. You may want to make an appointment with the doc. to get a blood test just to be sure. Good luck and congratulations.

Did the line show up within 10 minutes? If so, then it's probably a positive. Especially if it's the same color as the other line. But they say that "disappearing positives" are negatives. So I suggest going out and buying the Clearblue Digital. It tells you "Pregnant" or "Not Pregnant". When I was sick of trying to figure out the lines I took the digital test (2 of them) and they both said pregnant and they were accurate because I am very pregnant! You should wait like 2 days to test again. Or you can go to the doctor and get a blood test. Good luck.

Usually, you can get false negatives, but it is rare to get a false positive. If a line appeared(even if it is a faint one)then it had to have come in contact with some amount of HCG. False negatives occur because a woman has tested too soon or there just isn't enough HCG in her urine yet to confirm the test. However, the only reason a person would get a false positive is if she were taking some type of synthetic hormone that caused her to get a positive reaction to HCG. I doubt this is the case with you. It sounds to me like you are pregnant. If this is your first, then you are probably excited and nervous @ the same time. Relax let it sink in and get used to the idea of being a mommy. Congratulations and Good Luck!

an evaporation line is not usually colored...more of an indent than a color.

go to www.peeonastick.com to learn more about the evap line.

Yes sometimes evaporation lines can be colored, not fully colored though. Very light. Especially if you have had it sitting there for awhile. That's happened to me before. Just take another test.
