dont use the same one you bought for your body. your face is sensitive and it will probably burn. there are certain lotions that you can buy from the tanning salon (maybe even a drugstore) that are made just for the face. or you dont have to use anything at all. sometimes i even put SUNBLOCK on my face because it burns easily. you can always even the color out with foundation. and i heard that your face will look old and wrinkly at 30 if you are exposed to the sun too much. im not discouraging you, as i am a tanner too, but consider that.

Use face lotion. All tanning salons will have it. It comes in a bottle about 1/4 the size of the body lotion. You should always put lotion on.

I have a tanning bed, but I try not to overuse it. I have known people who went to extremes with their tanning and looked awful (in my opinion) as a result of it. It will make you wrinkle, have age or sun spots, and look alot older than you really are.

Whether you are tanning or not, It is very important to use a moisturizer on your skin in order to keep it healthy ans maintain a youthful appearance. I personally do not use the same lotion on my face that I use to tan the rest of my body. I try to use one that is formulated especially for the face and sometimes I use one that contains sunscreen. Regular tanning lotion is different than lotions made for the face ans may cause you to have acne.

YES certain lotions are bad for your face and your skin. But it's all up to your skin type. For example my skin is vary sensitive so i cant put any lotions on my face or body. "The best answer to that question is to ask your doctor, what kind of lotions to use on your skin."

Tanning bed lotion is not the same as outside tanning lotion. Tanning bed lotion is just a fancy-bottled moisturizer and doesn't contain any UV blockers (at least the vast majority of them don't -- what's the point of getting in a tanning bed if you don't want the UV?).

It's OK to put it on your face (but you don't have to if you don't want to).

A tanning salon usually offers a spray for your face. It helps keep the tan even. Applying lotion to your face may leave streaks or you may miss a spot. I wouldnt put lotion on my face. Also issue of clogging pores. Ask about a spray for your face. I personally use an SPF 15 to avoid wrinkles.

There are certain kinds of tanning accelerators made especially for your face. I don't think I would put the regular accelerator on my face personally. Vivid is a facial tanning bronzer and anti-aging lotion. I got some in a package deal with regular accelerator, but I don't use it.

I put a towel over my face, I don't want to tan it. I'm afraid of leatherface skin. However, putting tanning lotion on your face is not suggested unless it is a lotion specific to faces. You don't want to be tan with a bad breakout.

Certain lotions make me break out but I'd rather break out then be tan all over then burnt red on my face.
