yes, definitely, if it's a committed relationship-opposite sex couples end in divorce all the time and they get benefits that same sex couples are not allowed to receive when they've been together for years

Yes, absolutely. A marriage is a marriage (same sex marriage is legal where I live) and should be the same for any two people who love each other and are committed to one another. Period.

Yes. They all should be. And in my case, I have lived with my man for over four years, and I think we should get a few breaks too. We're in our 50s but we don't want to get married. However, we live like a married couple.

Yes, they are just like married couples ecept they have the same plumbing...if they treat each other like married couples, why not?

i dont have a particular vewipoint but techinically - those benefits are only for married couples - and same sex relationships are not ''marrige'' but a civil ceremony - so legally its not marrige and cannot recieve the benefits

yes. same sex marriages should be allowed and benefits as well. i am straight but i think everyone should be able to choose who they want to spend their life with. we only get one turn in this side of life and noone should be able to control who you spend it with.

i think they should be given the same rights..the constitution should be for all without discrimination just in the sense that we are all human beings.
