If so, how do you and your partner communicate about it? What do you like or not like?

I'm sorry if I've caused confusion. I'm referring to Swinging as the "Lifestyle" in this particular question.

This name 'Lifestyle' is very inaccurate, since people from many different and opposing lifestyles are hetero, just as many are gay.

I choose my lifestyle, to the extent that I can afford one or charge one on plastic, but I don't choose my sexuality.

Lifestyle is a term chosen by people who aren't gay. It implies a choice, which suits their other obsolate and unscientific rhetoric.

On the other hand, being gay often forces people to think about life and to think about style. Too many hetero folks never think, don't have a life, and God knows, they know nothing about style, but that's another story . . .

oops...I thought you were referring to the gay "lifestyle." you DID post int LGBT, after all. it isn't a "lifestyle" anyway...just who we are.
but, sorry. I'm in a monogamous, committed relationship. and, even if I wasn't, "swinging" isn't for me. whatever works for you, fine. I certainly hope you're being safe!

I am bisexual and i am very open with my female partners just as much as i am with the males ones. I am a normal person too even though i am of a different sexual orientation. Sexual preference make no difference on your quality of life or how happy you are as long as you are happy with yourself.

absolutely, we dont communicate about being gay because we are gay and we and are freinds know it. we do however communicate about life. we like going to the theater, dinner, movies, travel, boating, concerts. i could go on and on...

I don't have a "lifestyle," I have a life. Quite a good one with my partner, thanks.
