No, but it's got a very bad back caused by decades of carrying idle and useless students, benefit abusers, career baby farters, and other money grabbing losers.

Ther are plenty of people in the world who love to take advantage of our good nature. In any other era in human history a power such as us would dominate militarily the entire globe thru force of arms no matter the cost. Instead, we are on record as being the most generous and compassionate nation in history. While we might miss-step occasionally, we have been a force for good over evil despots for a long long time. But, as the old saying goes, the world asks "What have you done for me lately?" Since we are "THE" economic power, whatever way the u.s.a. goes so goes the global economy. Some folks say we are hated because of our involvement in other country's affairs. While this may be somewhat true, it should be expected that we are interested in others well being as much as our own. Attempting to affect policies fovorable to us and those that will benefit the world as a whole should be applauded rather then criticized. We are disliked for a myraid of reasons-mostly for our wealth and political and military power. If the Soviet Union was still around trying to spread their venom around the world, we would still have plenty of buddies. the fear of communism is no longer there so we better get used to some of these nitwits challenging us in order to make a name for themselves while putting their nations people at risk for no apparent reason. Recently we have been told by the Iranian and North Korean leaderships that the U.S.A. is impotent in trying to stop them from doing whatever they wish to do when they wish to do it. Looking at this objectively, even these lunatics know that they can been erased with a push of a button. They are taking a calculated risk that we will always be a manevolent people who would not entertain such a notion. And there lies the rub. They are right. They get a free pass to flap their jaws and show the rest of the world how tough they are. The problem is, there is a sizable portion of our own population that laps up what these nitwits are serving-some in our own congress. Saddam was a true despot that the world was happy to get rid of-the only problem was lack of intestinal fortitude in most countries save for those that joined the coalition. Most are all too happy to let us do the heavy lifting while paying lip service to our overbearance. Instead of standing strong and firm in the face of enemies of liberty, there are those from within that would readily sacrifice others freedoms hard won, for the temporary good feelings one gets after escaping danger and death or in the name of political expediency. The enemy has vowed eternal death, destruction, and misery on us until their deeds bear fruit. At the least, we must meet the challenge for our own sake and the sakes of the billions that depend on us as a beacon of liberty and a defender of free peoples.

I'm in the US but I can still answer. No, there's a lot more to it than that little bit. You really have to actually live in their shoes for a week to get even close to what they go through. They can do their job, it might not be what you like but they have your whole country to deal with. Do you think you could do better? I don't, I know I couldn't.
