Okay I currently work at a school district which I love since I love kids but I'm not sure if becoming a teacher is something I'm fit for. However, I got another job offer working for a blood bank and honestly I could work both jobs since they're different hours but the training for the blood bank is for 6 weeks during the hours I work at the district. What should I do ?? Should I try and talk to the principal and see if I can work around it since in about 2 weeks, we get 2 weeks off so I wouldn't be missing much or should I just quit the district and work for the blood bank ?? Neither job is actually fit for me, one just has more hours with less pay then the other. The blood bank is full time with less pay and the district is part time with more pay. HELP !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I've held down 2 jobs before and did excellent in both. I've already been at the district for over a year and yeah the part time works out perfect but I could use something to where I could get more money in about a year and be making double. Right, money doesn't make the world go around but it makes me live on my own far far far from my household. Which is more important...Moving out of my house. Sorry, takes a lot more money to do that so I have to look at the money.

If you don't want to pursue either one of those jobs as a career, then I'd stick with the school district.

It's more money *and* it's part time ... which will give you more free time to pursue other interests and/or jobs. Maybe you can take a class or join a community organization ... something that will spark your interest in a long-term career that you'll enjoy.

Dont quit a job like the School District which is a sure thing.
It looks good on a future resume too. If you jump around jobs too much it hurts your chances in the near future. An interviewer (like me) looks at the fact that you had a job quit, had another quit and so forth. This never looks as good as having one job for some time.
Stay with the School Job even though you know it will not be your long term goal. Use it as a temporary stepping stone to a great future. As long as you know it is short-term you can handle the fact that you are not suited for it.
And holding down two jobs will only cause you to not be good at either. Then it hurts you getting good job references for that big job coming your way. Remember, money is not everything. Take one step at a time.

I would stick with the part-time position. This will allow you some fre time to do some serious job searching for something that suits you better. If you tie yourself down to a full-time position, your free time is limited. Learn to work smarter, not necessarily harder. Get the most money in exchange for your time. Time is a priceless commodity. All the money in the world cannot buy one second of time, yet we spend it like it's water. So, work smarter.

Talk to the principal.... I don't see why he/she wouldn't work with you for a few weeks... it really isn't that big of a deal. If there's no way to work it out, no harm done, right? You may also find that your experience at the blood bank would help you later in life while working with kids.
Good luck!

You are really the only one who can decide what is best for you. And by the way, if you are going for the teacher job, you might want to brush up on your grammar. You never begin a sentence with the word "Okay." There are other grammatical errors too (including many run-on sentences), so again, you may want to take a look at that aspect.

Personally, I wouldn't do either one if you don't think they're the right job for you. You're just setting yourself up to fail in my opinion.
