I can't figure out how this actually works, what is in it. It reminds me a bit of the scent of clothes after being in the dry cleaners.

I use it on my area rugs after vacuuming (cannot be washed and I dryclean only).

Does anyone understand the science, if there is any, behind this product? Thanks.

P.S. The rugs are clean, they just smell ruggy.

Febreeze does nothing but mask the odor and quite frankly its odor combined with any other odor just smells worse. I dont know how it works, I prefer oust,thats just me though! Sorry no real help, huh?

supposedly it breaks it up and goes in the air ,that stuff just masks the smell,doesnt realy clean try rug cleaner and then use it

It's only scented water....read the ingredients. There are no cleaning agents whatsoever.
