Millions of people play sport every day, and, inevitably, some suffer injury or pain. Most players and spectators accept this risk. However, some people would like to see dangerous sports such as boxing banned.
Some sports are nothing but an excuse for violence. Boxing is a perfect example. The last thing an increasingly violent world needs is more violence on our television. The sight of two men (or even women) bleeding, with faces ripped open, trying to obliterate each other is barbaric. Other sports, such as American football or rugby, are also barely-concealed violence.
Some people argue that the players can choose to participate. Even where people can choose, they sometimes need to be protected against themselves. Most people approve of governments' efforts to reduce smoking. In the same way, governments need to act if there are unacceptably high levels of injuries in sports such as football, diving, mountaineering, or motor-racing.

You're being asked to pretend that you were speaking these words in a speech. If you were giving a speech about this boxing subject, what words would you stress? Where in the speech would you pause for effect? Just indicate the words you would stress with an underline, and make some other mark where you would pause if you were giving this as a speech to a crowded room.

P.S. Escape home-schooling as soon as you possibly can. It does not prepare you for the real world.

Hon, It means exactly as it says. Mark the words or sentences you want to stress. Like if you want to stress millions mark it. if you want to stress suffer injury, mark it increasing violent, mark it. Mark everything like this you want to stress. When you want to pause in your delivery you pause at the places you think need to be considered needs the most attention so it can sink in. Like in
some sports are nothing but an excuse for violence pause. Mark it etc.. Hope this helps.
