The guy needs to learn how to sing the lines clearly!
I just looked up the lyrics to the song "How To Save A Life" and I found out he was saying something completely different from what I thought he was!
I thought he was saying:
"Where did I go wrong
I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the building of sand
How could I have stayed up with you all night?
Did I know how to save a life?"

I think some of his lyrics are a little like slurred together, but sometimes they are pretty easy to figure out. I personally don't like the Fray though, I think their songs were overplayed and killed like the first few months they came out. The radio sucks that way.

I disagree too; How To Save A Life was the only one of their songs i have ever had any trouble understanding the words to, but there are plenty of other artists out there who make much less sense than them, so why pick on The Fray?

I disagree he has his own edge, it wouldn't be what it is if he changed his voice.
