How do i know if my thermal fuse is bad on my dryer

Its a thermal cutout designed to shut off the heating element if the dryer air gets above a certain value. Once the temperature drops is should rest on it own. If it is broken it will fail to reset and you will have no heat.
If you have no heat the thermal cutout could be bad or it could also be the heating element.

Check the continuity across the thermal fuse terminals. If there is no continuity - the thermal fuse is bad.

It's not really a fuse, but a thermo overheat device. If it is stuck electrically open, you will get no heat. If it is stuck electrically closed, you will over heat.

your vent is blocked in some way, climate that's clogged or overwhelmed something it causeing the warmth to construct up and that's inflicting the thermal and the safty to blow. as quickly as you have the line clean you would be in enterprise. solid success.
