I'm 44, and I definitely feel like I was born too late. I love a lot of the older stuff from the 40's, 50's and 60's. Of course, I grew up listening to the 70's and 80's and 90's, but with each decade I've been enjoying less and less of what is "current".

Drifters, Ray Charles and Buddy Holly are some of my all time favorites. Platters, Mills Brothers, Andrew Sisters, Beatles, Eagles, Bing, Elvis, Johnny Cash....list is very long.

My parents actually bought those record collections (real vinyl LP's) from Reader's Digest that had the top hits from each of the years in those eras, so that's what i listened to growing up.

Glad to know I'm not the only one....

you should check out Mean Streets soundtrack they had a lot of good oldies slowdance songs in the movie.
