I like heaps of country music
but this Australian guy Ted Kittel made a couple of Cd's about real country music & they are very good
I love each one on the cd but
They pulled the railway up is especially great
then theres
The mining folk of old iron knob
or
One good year in three
or
The words of a Merle haggard song
I could list them all because they are so great

In the past I was not a big country music fan, but I am growing to enjoy it more since my sweetie has introduced me to more of it.
Back in December, he took me to the Ryman (Opry) in Nashville --first time for both of us--it was awesome--like stepping into a piece of history. We saw many good singers that night, including Vince Gill. . Well, I went to a Vince Gill concert a week ago with a friend and he was amazing -- such a good singer and guitar player -- it was great. So I am now going to have more of an open mind with country -- even though I do enjoy many different genres of music.

I love a lot of the old stuff particularly Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash. I like Okie From Muscogee and Ring Of Fire a lot among many others. Recently my sweetheart and I went to the Ryman Auditorium Grand Old Oprey in Nashville and it was wonderful being with her most of all, the music was great and the history of that place is amazing!

I would have to say Johnny Cash, because he gave so much to the music industry and he always appeared so real and down to earth.
George Jones, just love his music.
And Alan Jackson has a great voice.
I like the older classic country more than contemporary though.

Me and You by Kenny Chesney
Got Nothin' to Lose by Josh Gracin
Honky Tonky Badonk a Donk by Trace Aikens
Love all types of music, but married a cowgirl and am getting educated in the finer points of the genre.
