I live in Canada Ontario Toronto. What really pisses me off is am looking for work and its hard for me. But people who are immigrants get jobs easier why is that? like programs out there where they help them more than us canadians. am 27 with a college diploma and i cant get a job. But immigrants out there dont even know how to speak english like what the hell. I think canada should help their people first before anyone else who comes into this country

I'm canadian and, buddy, speak for yourself!

I believe in open fair market competition! If you want a job, you go out and find one! Don't expect it to be handed to you. That's such a typical north american attitude! If you see immigrants working it's because they're willing to take something you're too selfish too lower yourself to do! Or, they just simply have better skills than you. BOO HOO!! Don't blame them because just because they weren't born here. They are a better worker than you! That's the bottom line!

I once took a contract in the US. I qualified under NAFTA because I'm an engineer. I took a job away from an american and I'm, arghuably, a foreigner! That's right, being canadian meant I was a foreigner. It's all fair as far as I'm concerned. The employer should have the right to hire the best person for the job. I also am suffering because high tech engineering jobs are being sent offshore to India and China now. But I'm not complaining! I'm looking at other careers now. That's just life so join the parade or shut up!

BTW, we're foreigners in Canada. In case you don't know your history, the natives are the true inhibitants here!

You certainly have a point and this is a worldwide problem, e.g. if we were in another country, we may have the opportunities that the citizens don't have...the only advice is to be very 'assertive' and don't give up...these people don't because they can't and that is key...we must learn to get along, and then we can manage our equality.

So what is your question? Is this just a rant? I'm not sure what you're looking for here...
