I dont hate emo people, dont get them....but dont hate them

That's the same thing i'm wondering.
I hate sterotypes anyways.
People always think that because someone is different they should make fun of them. It's crap.
Just like yesterday some guy on here was saying he hated "emo" people and he can't wait until punch and emo in the face day on march 19th or something like that.
Personally i think it's sad that people can't except others for who they are.

Who hates them specifically? I think you're using hyperbole and generalisation to defend something you feel insecure about. Which, I suppose, is what being an emo is all about.
Emos aren't generally hated for any reason, like Tony Blair or Nazis are - but a lot of people just look at emos and think 'Sheesh, you've hardly lived, why are you so cynical already - enjoy yourself!'

there aren't really any real emos anyway- it's just a trend that people are following now and any band that could possibly have any emotion whatsoever is emo. people are sheep, emos are sheep, emo-haters are also sheep.
i don't hate the emos, i just hate the concept of emo.

I like some Emo music - but, then again, i'll listen to anything but rap/r&b and country
you know why people hate? its because they have issues and dont feel good about themselves unless they can put down others. its just the kind of world we live in today. sad really. i dont like rap, but it doesn't mean i hate rappers or people who listen to it...

Because emo's are annoying. They're this generations hippies. They don't do anything, and they don't stand for anything. They're just annoying teens with slightly bothered lives. If you want to see some REAL sadness, look for someone with a positive outlook on life.

because the majority of 'emos' aka emotionals are fake and are sheep among a flock of other sheep, following the crowd so they can say they are different and none conformers, when thats exactly what they are..
they moan about the most ridiculous things and write 'songs' and 'poetry' to tell people how bad their lives are, when they have pretty good lives compared to other people like the starving in africa, they are self obsessed and take alot of things for granted..
if they feel their lives are that crap, dont sit around cutting yourself and moaning, do something about it!

I don't hate them, I think they're beautiful. People just don't get people that aren't like them and a lot of the time that results in cruelty.
