Most obscenities, but especially using God's name as a cuss word or the "F" word.
A friend of mine has a saying referring to vulgarity or curse words--
"Using such language just shows how limited your vocabulary is"

As a special ed. teacher I also cannot stand when people say something is "retarded" in referring to something they don't like. That feels like nails down a chalkboard to me. Even though that term is not used anymore for special students, it still makes me cringe when it is used either in reference to students or in other ways.

I cringe when I hear vulgar cuss words, not the typical ones but the really bad ones especially saying the Lord's name in vain will make me cringe a lot.

Besides the vulgar ones, when someone says, "in their locale" it makes me cringe. When someone says "irregardless" I want to gag them.
