First things first how old are you? Secondly it can take months even years to overcome the effects of birth control. If
you have gone to a doctor to help you get pregnant they should have given you a diagnoses and if they didn't I would suggest you see a diffrent doctor. If they are going to "take your eggs out" and use sperm to create a embryo and then put it back that is called IVF. There are other ways to try to get pregnant before resulting in doing a last ditch effort of IVF. There are medications that can help you ovulate and other procedures they can do such as IUI.That is where they take you boyfriends sperm and inject it into your uterus when you ovulate or close to the time you will ovulate. They should have also done a full exam on you and your boyfriend and checked his sperm count. Once that is all done you can work from there but I suggest getting a second opinion and work with a reproductive endocrinologist.

I agree with the other answers, but also, have you had a real good class or book on human reproduction? It might answer some basic questions like when it's easier or harder to get pregnant. You sound like you might benefit from a refresher about how the body works. And beyond that, keep trying and keep trying.
