How To Fold a Fitted Sheet
Here's how to fold a fitted sheet perfectly every time.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 5 minutes
Here's How:
Slip your hand into 2 top corners of the sheet.
With one hand inside each of the top 2 corners, fold the sheet (right sides together). Slip each of the top corners into one of the bottom corners.
Lay sheet on bed or table. Arrange and fold the corners neatly. Turn in selvage edges enough to make 4 straight sides.
Fold in half, then in half again. (All four corners will be stacked together, and sheet will be in a long strip.
Then fold the long strip in half, then in half (or thirds, depending on the size of the sheet) again to make a square.
Sheet should be a compact, neat square.
Smooth and place on shelf.
Tips:
Learn how to fold sheets consistently so that they remain neat each time.
Store sheets in sets (flat, fitted, and cases) if that is how you use them.
Mark shelves with sheet sizes, or use different shelves for different size sheets.
For patterned sheets, by folding the bottom sheet inside out and the top sheet right side out, you'll be able to easily tell the difference.

Awhile ago I worked in a hotel as a night auditor and had to do this allll the time... It's kinda a pain at first...
1 Fold the sheet from top to bottom in half tucking the corners inside each other.
2 Holding the sheet with your hands in the corners bring the right side over your left hand, tucking the left corners into the right corners.
3 Lay the sheet down and fold over the top from the corner down.
4 Do the same with the left side. Folding it from the corner to the right side.
5 Fold the sheet in thirds from the top and bottom in
6 Fold the sheet in half and you're done.

This may take several times before you get the hang of it, but I have been doing this for many years. Take the sheet and put your hand in the sewn point of one corner. Clockwise, slip the next corner on top of the first...right sides together...the next corner on top of the second...wrong sides together....and the last corner on top of that...right sides together. Other hand now pick up opposite folds and shake. I then fold in the elastic edges on their two side to form a square. Fold that in half, and fold in half one more time. Voila!!

You turn 2 of the corners inside-out, then fit them inside the
other 2 corners. Then fold the gathered sides in, making it
as square as possible, then just keep folding it up.
Sorry, this is one of those things that's better demonstrated
than described!

I "tuck" the same-side corner pockets into each other, and then just fold it as square as possible.
