Vicky, I'm very sorry for your situation. Hopefully, it will be corrected soon. We are often slow to learn about love and responsibility, and people do things (or don't do things without thinking).

First, you should contact your husband and tell what your need is, and ask for a quick response.

If he fails to respond, I believe that if you contact his immediate commanding officer, he will convince him of his responsibility, without having to resort to legal action.

yes you are. Believe me I'm a US Army soldier, deployed to Iraq, and all married couples get paid extra for having a spouse. If you are seperated for more than 30 days, then he will also be paid "family sepration pay". None the less if you are living off post with him then he is getting paid BAH (Basic Housing Allowance). There is a lot of things the Army pays married couples for. If he isn't sharing any of the funds with you, I'd suggest going to talk to his First Sergeant or company commander. One of those two men or women will settle it almost as fast as youcan blink. If your husband is deployed then those two people will be deployed with him. Then you will have to talk to the FRG (Family Readiness Group). I'm not sure if it's called that everywhere, but thats what my unit calls it. Usually the wives/husbands of the company commander, First Sergeant, Sergeant Major, or Battalion Commander are in this group. Above all, if no one else can help you these people can. Good luck and best wishes.

Had the same problem. 1st start with writing a letter to his commanding officer (they should have already allocated funds for family support) if your not getting it let him know. If that doesn't work go to the army Chaplin - they have more power then you think. I personally skipped that and went straight to my state senator (just called the office) find out which of your senators for your state handles military affairs. Within 2 weeks of speaking with my senator I had a check in the mail and an apology. Also got a letter from my fathers child explaining how much grief he got for not following through with the support order.
Good luck, but you should have no problems.

Is he signed up for direct deposit of his check? Aren't you listed as a co-owner of the checking account? If not, the account will be frozen if he is KIA and you can't access the funds. Have him contact USAA Federal Savings Bank at www.usaa.com to set up a free 4star checking account and you can pay bills on-line. They also have auto and renters insurance to cover your property. I don't understand how you can't be getting any money since the Army also pays a certain amount each month to support a family in addition to his salary. Do you live on post? Shop at the PX and Commissary? Have him go to his finance officer to find out what is going on if everything else isn't working. If that doesn't work, go to his CO.

the guy has reported he w/ you in user-friendly terms so he does not could pay baby help and alimony and is in love with somebody else and you opt to do marriage counseling?? Sorry yet no quantity of marriage counseling is going to make him love you if he does not, He has shown/ reported he does not approximately as sparkling as a individual can. This sounds too very like a creepy genuine crime coach the place the husband would be unable to eliminate the spouse different than removing her. frightening. Be clever and start up thinking of your self and the babies. he's valueless. YOU record for a divorce considering the fact that he won't and get an stunning legal professional to get you the youngster help and alimony to circulate to college so which you would be based on no one. confirm to tell your legal professional what motives your husband gave for no longer divorcing you. a competent legal professional would be throughout that. BTW you may think of extra of your self in case you opt to set an occasion on your babies. in user-friendly terms once you're able to do which will you already know you deserve something extra effectual and could then have the means to stop being so desperate as to hold onto a guy that doesn't love you. Harsh? it may sound it yet you already are conscious of it particularly is genuine.

Does he need financial support? Do you have a power of attorney? If not forget trying to do anything in his name. If you are short and need a small amount of cash for groceries or whatever go to the chaplain.
