I live in Toronto, and it looks like buttery yellow is the spring "it" colour. I think I'll get one or two tops. What about yourselves?

Yellow is a great color for sping. You can tone down the yellow with neutral colors so you don't feel like a walking advertisement. Pairing with contrasting colors such as black is not reflective of spring so try to stay away from that combination. Pairing with red or orange is just way too much color. Yellow is also a great color for any hair color and skin tone. That may very well be why it's huge this spring. I absolutely will be acquiring more yellow but I have always had a few yellow peices in my closet.

I think i have three yellow tops and love them as long as you team it with the right accessories and don't other vibrant and contrasting colours it should look lovely go for it you could also buy yellow shoe and a yellow hairband so you reinforce the yellow so you look confident in it but not so much that everyone needs sunglasses to look at you hehe
go for it

Yellow is very in right now, but make sure it compliments your skin tone and eyes, and doesn't wash you out.

If you go for yellow, get rich yellows (like you mentioned, buttery tones), and not too pastel yellow. Pair it with black (another style that's in right now).

Do you have an H&M near you? They currently have an entire section in my local stores that has a ton of black and yellow coordinates. It looks awesome.

I'm not sure. I've always thought of yellow as one of those colours that it is hard to look good in (both myself and seeing others wear it).

I'd recommend you try it out and see what you friends think! If they can give you an honest opinion I think that will get you on your way. It's not my favourite colour but I won't be the one wearing it!

Good luck!

100% yes! Just not near my face, maybe in a skirt or a shoe or a bag, and if in a top, mixed in with a midnight blue.

Urban Outfitters down on Yonge has this amazing cami selection with bright yellow flowers on a midnight blue tank that I think I might nip back and buy.....

I know that blondes look best in a golden yellow, whereas everyone else looks good in all the other yellows

I love yellow! I wouldn't dress in all yellow, but I like yellow shirts. I think yellow shirts can go well with alot like, white springy skirts or denim skirts or jeans.

I don't do yellow. It doesn't appear to be a very sophisticated color. Yellow polos are very cute though, and very spring. I like other pastels such as light pink and even khaki (not just on your pants) is good for spring.

"In" or not, yellow isn't really a good color for me. I have to have a really dark tan to wear it well, otherwise it just "washes me out". I probably won't be buying much yellow.
