Any team that can stay healthy and get good starting pitching. I'm not going to throw out a team name because at this point anyone can. But if a team can stay healthy and be hot at the right time i.e. the Tigers of last year, they can make it to the World Series.

Personally, I would go with the Twins and Dodgers. Both are teams with the pitching to dominate, and the timely (though not always power) hitting to win ballgames.
I admit to being biased, living in LA, and being from the upper midwest, but both look impressively strong.

Seeing that the AL Central is even better than last year, I say it will be another National League team that slides into the playoffs.

the red sox
they had the best defence in the league last year and will again have a top one this year
they have one of the best lineups with manny and big papi
there starting 5 are easily the best in the league. with dice-k, schilling, becket, papelbon, and wakefield
the bulpen has talent just who will be the closer is undecided

The Detroit Tigers, no question about it. They came out of nowhere last year and, they'll be even stronger this year with confidence, knowledge and some new faces. Go Tigers!
