I want to go to a spa and get a full body wax (arms, legs, bikini) all in one day. Is that a good idea or should I go at separete times. Also, is there any advice to make waxing as painless as possible. It will be my first time having a full body wax.

thanx

A good salon wax should not hurt, or be sore afterwards but if you skin is sensitive then it may be. The main thing is to minimise pain AFTER the wax, as the actual waxing isn't that painful at all, and only lasts for a split second. Make sure your skin is dry and not moisturised otherwise the wax won't work very well, but all extra dry patches will need dashing with water, then drying to condition before waxing with COLD water. It will help the wax take only to the hairs and make skin tougher. Some salons apply talc to make sure no skin gets caught in the wax. Legs shouldn't hurt too much ^_^

You can also buy creams that numb areas if you have any very sensitive areas- it's pain relief cream that include ibuprofen but it numbs the area completely (I recommend this for the bikini area).

Afterwards only use fragrance free moisturiser, and apply talc powder ^_^

Hope this helps honey- good luck!!

Are you nuts? do your legs first or an area that you will get the experience from. ALWAYS do a test patch you don't want to end up bruised for a week. Make sure this is a reputable establishment.

Pop 2 aspirin, and hope for the best.

It is going to hurt. But I think once it hurts a lot, it ends up hurting less because your endorphins kick in and you feel no pain after a certain threshhold...

Get it all done at once (like the dentist) or you won't want to go back again.
