So when you are watching a DVD or tape and you pause it, when you want to carry on watching it, do you press the pause button again to get it playing again OR do you press the play button?

Press the play button. The thing with my player is that if u press the pause button again, it won't start playing again so I have to start the play button.

i press the play/pause button as they r are both on the same button.

Well on my DVD remote Play/Pause is the same button....so I guess both!
