he has had no costs to pay hasn't done anything with my case and his parrelegal says he hasn't even tried yet to consult the other insurance co. for a settlement, says he usually does by now but he hasn't on my case.

You can fire him but if it is an insurance settlement be careful to have him waive his attorney's lien on the settlement proceeds and release you from any fee obligation.

at anytime you can dismiss him and find another

I'd find the replacement first, he'll send him notification of his firm taking over the case

you can always terminate a relationship with an attorney after all he works for you. you are the boss. you may forfit your retainer tho but if you want to end the relationship it is your perogotive

you can fire your lawyer at anytime for any reason..you dont even have to have a reason....just fire him
