i dont approve of molesting children, but it seems society has got things ************. so touching a kid is horrible, but brutaly murdering someone is not as bad. hmm. makes sense.

Alot of them were molested as children( or so they claim).
To them a molester is the equivalent on an inhalant in the drug world.

I agree, with some of the answer i read, In prison or what have you, a crime against a child, is below the standads, of any crimminal. Because the child cannot defend themself, or fight back. the child is helpless, if it being a parent or guardian.
A rapist is just as bad. But for some reason ,molesters are lower then the lowest crime, a person can make. Belive me, muders will protect a child from another ,if need be. Why? your guess is good as mine/
But in reality, probably, because,they know what its like to not have a childhood, or parents to protect them. And then again, it could be a sign of redemption on their part, because, they feel it was their fault. because it could of been that childs father or mother they killed. And knowing it may have been their fault, so they strive to protect them., Because, it also makes them think of their own, And how they can't protect them if need be. I must add this belore, i forget, If a rapist raped an adult, its bad. because they can fight back. But if a rapist ,rapes a child, then it is worse then raping an adult. because they are an adult, and itsnot fair to the child. because someone bigger or stronger then them ,they can't win against. Because they know they will be overpowered. And its easier for them to knock them down, or what have you. Don't get me wrong. the prison population despise rapist, but child molesters are the worse crime a crimminal can make.

I think it goes back to motivation and justification. Murderers are more likely to think, "Well, they had it coming," or "They made me mad" or "It was him or me." But in the case of molesting children, none of those rationales apply. Child molestation is selfish, aimed at someone vulnerable who can't defend themselves or hasn't learned how adults think yet. Even Jesus Christ Himself had a definite opinion on child abuse, that it would be better for the offender to have a millstone hung around his neck (a stone something close to the person's size, or even bigger) and be drowned in the sea. Most people know intrinsically that you should not be committing crimes against children. However, I agree that murder should be treated as a serious offense, as it is a sin that you cannot fully make restitution for in this life, and it takes the longest and most strict repentance process as well.

Child molestation have a deeper impact throughout their life time, I know girls got suicide after they got molested.
To add to this, children as a victim is more despicable than adults because children haven't live their lives yet. Molestation seem to be a way of procrastinating suffering as to adults being murdered

Sexual assault, especially against those who cannot defend ~ is lower than low.
Murder is understandable ~ Robbery is understandable ~ but sexual crimes... That isn't understandable.
