I got into an argument with someone at work. The next thing I know she yells out in front of our coworkers that I ratted her out to the Union. She is an appointed alt. safety rep. She believes I tried to tell on her to get her kicked out of her position. Here is what happened.
There was an incident with someone trying to carry a panel that was too big and heavy off of the production line by himself. She was standing next to him and didn't make a move to stop him or help him. She's new to the job, so I considered it ignorance of the job. I spoke with my committeeman and asked him if I should say anything and that if I did I only wanted it to be advice to her about the incident. I didn't want her to get into any trouble. I knew she was new to the job. We met with the President of our Union for a different reason the next day. At that time I wasn't going to say anything. I was brought up by the committeeman. I expressed I didn't want to get her in trouble only help her.
