Well, I certainly wouldn't name a pet pig that, but you can name it whatever you want. It's not like the pig will know the difference between if you called him Bacon Sandwich or Oinker or whatever. lol

No. i watched this tv program once and this guy had three pot bellied pigs that he trained to do things like raise a flag and ride a scate board (pigs are very intelligent) anyways their names were bacon, pork chop and sausage (i think, not sure bout the last one)

Hahaha love it!! No way is it cruel, unless your pig can speak english?! I use to have a small pony called Dog a few years back, as well a mare called Dave! The stupidest names are the best!

Go for it,

We had a goose a couple of years ago, which we called Christmas Dinner. The first thing he saw when he hatched was the water trough in the incubator, so you could lead him around with a bucket of water because he thought it was his mother.

LOL, I think it is adorable. My Mother once named a Parrot, Chicken Pot Pie. Of course, she only used the full name if the bird of being offensive. We would just laugh because it would shut the bird right up.

Nope. We had a dairy cow named Dinner. Every night my mom would call us in for supper- and the cow would run up to the gate :)
Unfortunately, she met an early demise while calving and we ended up actually having her for dinner.
