I'd have to say right now, I'm feelin' Lupe Fiasco. Listening to some of his lyrics, it's a breath of fresh air compared to the mainstream garbage.

Listen to "Coulda Been". One of my favorite songs right now.

Lil B, Danny Brown, Earl Sweatshirt, Dumbfoundead, and Murs are my genuine 5 BQ: i wager Eric B & Rakim. they are the in reality one i understand a lot about. BQ2: contained in the mainstream, sure. BQ3: DJ Quik, inspite of the truth that i'm no longer an authority. I resembling his artwork with Suga loose. BQ4: MC: Lil B producer: 9th ask your self or Clams on-line casino BQ5: Tribe, The Roots, Mobb Deep. The others i have not truly listened to. BQ6: De la Soul - 3 feet severe and lengthening BQ7: enter the Wu-Tang. Cliche i understand... :/ BQ8: Murs - Murray's Revenge BQ9: Did LiveLoveA$ap come out this year? if so, that one. BQ10: Too many to record haha yet i will say the pattern for stupid lady by technique of Murs.

If I HAVE to pick a current one I would say that's kinda hard (too much BS out right now) But I like Aceyalone he is a West Coast underground MC

I still listen to my older stuff ( Pharcyde, Mos Def, Talib Kwahli, old Common etc...)

I've been listenin to jin lately, his lyrical talent is amazin. Just like eminem did, he has brought somethin different into the mainstream nd i like it, although the sales figures don't reflect his talent. He's only 24, still time to turn that around. www.myspace.com/therealjin

Hip Hop is neither music or artistic. If you like noise, listen. If you like music, don't.
