Yeah i have worked in a lot of restaurants and have become very familiar with FDA regulations and the cause and effect of your actions when not dealing with food properly. You HAVE to wash all meats, chicken, beef fish anything because they are usually packaged in their juices to retain flavor but these juices can contain bacteria from the natural processes of the animal. So you must wash the blood off.

If I ate meat, I deffinatly would. But I'm vegitarian because I don't like the idea of eating animals. But even thinking of eating meat that still has blood on it makes me nauseous.
A friend told me about a kind of sausage they have here in Switzerland. It's a blood sausage. It still has loads of blood in it and it ooses all over. He loves eating meat, but had troubles keeping that down. (It was in his school cafeteria)

Yeah. Someone told me not to 'cause I'm just gonna spread germs that are on the meat onto the sink. But it doesn' t make sense to me. Why would you rather have germs on your meat than on your sink? Well, I do it anyway and I don't believe that it's gonna take away some of the flavors from the meat.

I would recommend using vinegar or a lemon to wash blood off meat.

Usually mine is cooked, so the blood is almost always gone.
However, depending on what you mean by meat, I sure as heck are not putting something in my mouth that has blood on it. >:P

No. I like my steaks rare and juicy. I do run the meat quickly under cold water before I put my seasonings on it before I cook it.
