Since you have already had a miscarriage, I think you should try to push your Dr's appointment up. In the meantime I have to say I had the same thing happen from about 5 weeks until I was about 7 weeks. I kept thinking "Isn't this strange to have menstrual cramps and no period, maybe I'll not have a period this month" Then it turned out I was pregnant, hahaha. I think I may have asked a similar question about the cramping too and found out that it was totally normal. I am not a Dr, but would guess that is what your going through too, I ave heard that miscarriage cramping is much more painful than the pregnancy cramping. Best Wishes to you! Congratulations!

Wow hey... I'm also 5 weeks and 4 days! Very cool! We should stay in touch... anyway. I think the cramping is from over exerting yourself. I get tired enough and I don't work at a club! Your body is going through so much down there and it needs lots of oxygen and blood supply. If you're not getting enough rest, you're not giving enough attention and your body is telling you to rest. Take a night or two off work and rest up. if things don't get better, and you're really that worried... get into the doc or call and see what's going on. You need to be extra careful with having these risks.... good luck!

Hi.
I am 5 weeks as well. and I also get dull cramps. I have been reading up on it, and most say that it a natural thing to happen. I think that the more that you worry about it the worse the cramps get. I have decided not to stress about it and let my body do what it has to do to prepare for the baby to grow.
I would recommend you take it easy for the first 3 months.
If they get really bad, see your doctor.
Good luck with everything.

is there any recognizing with the discomfort? I had minor cramping for the time of the two one among my pregnancies - that is not in any respect uncommon, and is often by using tendons stretching, and so on. regrettably, maximum being pregnant books describing indicators under no circumstances point out it as a common difficulty. whether, there is likewise the tubal being pregnant possibility. My rule of thumb during pregnancy is to under no circumstances hesitate to get appeared at. there is no longer something incorrect with being despatched domicile for a common symptom. Many wellbeing care provider's have suggestion nurses you are able to call - you may locate that useful too. sturdy success!

I just had severe cramps last Friday, so I know how to help you.
Instead of putting a heating pad against your belly, you should lay on it so its against your lower back and rub coconut oil on the left side of your stomach where it hurts.
Depending on how bad the pain is, the cramps should go away within 10 minutes or a little more.
It did for me.

I experienced the same thing, dull cramping. My Dr said it was normal (your uterus is expanding). I wouldn't worry but if it changes from dull cramping to major cramping call your Dr.

call your Dr. lay down and prop your legs up above head level lay flat on your back. you might want to take a few days off from work. maybe even change careers until after the pregnancy. good luck.
