You said you got it yesterday and now it won't start. Did it start to begin with? If it was already working, your Internet should not cause it to stop. Unplug everything and start again. Go down the check list.
Now if it never worked ask yourself:
Do I have all of the cables correctly patched in?
Am I getting any juice from the outlet or power strip I am using? If not, try a different one. Now?
With a monitor, I am told that certain ones can take up to 25 minutes or so to actually "come on" and show their visuals.
If you still have no power, you need to resolve that matter first.
If you have power, but the tower is not turning on, then this is where you are going to have to call and/or return your product back to the place of purchase.
If you have a laptop the same applies. Good luck.

Sounds like youve got a power supply problem. If you bought it new you all you should do is make sure your pc is plugged in and the your electricity is pumping. Make sure you flipped the switch on the PSU and thats all you can do unless your willing to void your warranty. It has nothing to do with your internet connection. Take it back to the store and get a replacement or crack'er open and risk voiding the manuf. warranty.

I bought a computer from Dell exactly 1yr ago. I didn't even have it for 3days and the motherboard and the sound card went bad, and had to get a tech here to fix it. I would definately call the people or go to the store you bought it from and have it looked over thoroughly before the warrenty is out:)

1. Call the people you go it from.
2. Does it make any sounds when you turn it on?
3. Does it do anything, if it doesn't it could be so many different problems.
4. If you bought the computer from someone or something you may be SOL.

The first thing to do is set the network/wireless issues aside and concentrate on why the computer itself won't start.
Check to make sure that the computer and monitor are plugged into electrical wall sockets that are getting power. If they are plugged into a power strip (which in turn is plugged into the wall) make sure that the power strip is turned on.

That shouldn't affect the computers' ability to start up. The power cable is securely plugged into the back of the computer (three-pin plug)?
Other than a faulty part (such as a switch), I see no logical reason why it wouldn't start.

Did this happen after you added the wireless router/modem to it?
If yes, try unplugging it.
If no, you will have to contact your PC manufacturer. Sometimes, PCs fail for no reason. If you built this PC yourself or select the components and asked someone to build for you, you probably have to look for all the hardware manufacturers to figure out what has gone wrong.

I don't think that that would cause it to not boot...Could be a power supply...Did you custom build it? (like put all the parts together?) How did you by it? When i put all my parts together my friend told me he had the same problem I had so he took it to a guy and he told him to put these things called risers ( little gold things you put in screw holes and then put motherboard on top of and put screws into.) and I tried it. It worked for me. You might need to take it to the place where you got it if you did not custom build it.

There is something called "Infant Mortality" in computers, where brand new ones fail more than ones that have been around and in use for a year. You really need to contact the person you got it from and ask them to fix it or refund your money.

first of all is a PC or a laptop? if it's a laptop it may have problems with the battery charge (have you charged it?) if it's a pc, does it makes any sound? any beep? With the information given I can't do anything so, if you want send me a private email and I will try to help you.
Anyway the antenna can't be the cause, if it doesn't start at all...
