I think those that do, do so because they are jaded by society. I think that is what is so frustrating for those that are sincere. How do you tell someone that what you mean is genuine, when they have been hurt so often by people that were not sincere? They get used to putting up a wall and being cautious and cynical and untrusting.
Yes, I've had people that were so accustomed to "false words" fed to them by people that harmed them, that when I say the same words in a genuine fashion, they aren't taken at face value and I am grouped in with all the false friendly people that ever crossed this person's path. It's so disheartening..... makes you feel that you have to get through to this person just so that once they can finally trust someone. But that is easier said than done.
Pain runs deep...... and it is something that people have to be willing to forget. Willing to once again take a risk. Willing once again to trust. All you can do, is be there when they do, so that they will realize....... wow, now that WAS sincererity!

Sincerity is not something I kid around with, therefore anyone who knows me, knows that I am sincere.

There are a few that do. I think it's because they are shallow and hard and unable to say and do what they really want.
