yeah and if you tip in an opponents freethrow before it hits the ground it should be negative 1 point.

I don't think such a rule change would be viable. Can you imagine a team down by four in the closing seconds running a play for a half-court shot? Or a team getting their *** handed to them all game planning for a full-court shot to win the game? There's an easy way to tell what a half-court shot is, but where is the full-court line? It's fun idea for the playground, but for the NBA, it's ridiculous.

50 points, thats crazy. one lucky shot can messed up the game. i give atleast 6-10 points for a half court. imagine one guy one shot made 50, he would go 1 for 1 for 50. Thats lame. get serious, ask a real questions

Are you serious? 50 points for full court shots? No, absolutely not. Those kind of shots are not common enough to have their own separate amount of points awarded for a make.

I agree with the 4 pt shot but the 50 pt shot, come on, a 10 pt shot would be reasonable

I think you should get more points for shooting a half and full court shot, but not 50, that's too much

this is going to be bad for the game of basketball. what do you want to watch: a low-percentage, boring kind of shot or a high-percentage, creative kind of shot. these half court shots should only be in the all-stars side events.

i know there are a lot of rule changes that occur in the nba, but that would be too far fetched... that reminds me of an old mtv celebrity b-ball game i saw where there were three rims on top of each other and each hoop equalled a different amount of points... it was cool at first, but by the end of the game it was just dumb...
