My husband and I use the toilet paper and both my boys use wipes (ages 2 and 5 months).

flushable wipes - not dry toilet paper
think about it... if you got pooh on your hand would you simply take some dry paper and wipe it off? No. You'd go running full speed ahead to the nearest source of running water and soap yourself up with surgical presicion. So the wet wipe is the way to go for your butt.
