my best friend is a cubs fan and wants to know if anyone thinks the cardinals absolutely suck.

The Cardinals were a fluke last year. I would hardly call an 83-78 team world champions. The Cards better look over their shoulders this year because the Cubs are much improved.

HUGE cardinals fan! They won last year didn't they? Everyone is in such denial that a team is good if they already have a dislike for them.
By the way, my best friend is a Cubs fan too.

A lot of haters on this site.....Uhh...Yankee Dude, are you referring to the "fluke" that swept the team that polished off your overrated overspenders? "got the tigers at the right moment"???? The tigers came in with their rotation set up just how they wanted it, with home field advantage against an underdog that was drained after an exhausting 7 game series....and GOT SWEPT!!!!!
Seriously folks....champions are champions for a reason. Until the Cubs take their bloated payroll up to the podium after the last out of the Series and claim the trophy, let's try giving credit where credit is due eh?

Cardinals got lucky that the playoffs are short series. They almost lost to the Muts and just got the Tigers at the right moment. They almost lost their division. Anything can happen in a short series.
