I'm not sure if any other military answered this question or not, but here's my take as an active duty military member. Not only no, but HE** NO! and it is not a matter of liking him or not. He is our Commander in Chief. He is elected by the people to be our commander. We will not turn against him as we have sworn to obey him and defend our country and it's allies. We have all chosen to be in this military. We will follow the rules he makes because the people elected him. And they elected him twice. The second time after the war was started. If that isn't giving him the green light I don't know what is. So no it is not our job to remove him form office that is the job of the voters and their representatives.

No, I think the military should turn on the mainstream liberal media for their criminal negligence in reporting the so-called "facts" of the Iraqi war. Let me give you a short list of lies put out by the Clinton News Network and the Communist Broadcasting Service (oh, add Air America in there too):

LIE #1: WE DIDN'T FIND WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION IN ANY LARGE QUANTITIES IN IRAQ: The only reason the American public believes that is because the mainstream media hasn't reported on the large stockpiles that HAVE been found. Don't trust the media for your facts. Talk to the troops that have actually BEEN to Iraq. They'll tell you about the stockpiles they have seen with their own eyes.

LIE #2: THERE'S NO PROOF THAT SADDAM HUSSEIN WAS AIDING AL-QAEDA TERRORISTS IN ANY WAY. Over 300 al-Qaeda operatives have been captured or killed in Iraq, but again, has the mainstream media reported this to you? Or did the mainstream media report the evidence found by the U.S. Armed Forces that Saddam was supplying weapons and money to al-Qaeda, Hamas, and several other known terrorist organizations?

LIE #3: OVER 600,000 INNOCENT IRAQI CITIZENS HAVE DIED AT THE HANDS OF THE U.S. ARMED FORCES IN IRAQ SINCE THE WAR STARTED. There's no truth whatsoever to that. Take a zero off the end and you'd be closer but still not close enough. Furthermore, the innocent Iraqi citizens who are being killed are dying almost exclusively at the hands of the warring Iraqi factions (READ: They're being killed by their own people, NOT U.S. TROOPS!!!)

LIE #4: 85% OF IRAQIS WANT THE U.S. TROOPS TO LEAVE THEIR COUNTRY. That poll was taken in the town where the Marines raped a 14-year-old girl, and almost everyone who was polled knew the family in some way. The truth is the Iraqi citizens are grateful for the presence of the U.S. troops because they know the civilian casualties would be much higher were it not for our men and women in uniform keeping the fighting in check.

LIE #5: WE'RE FIGHTING A WAR FOR OIL. The liberals need to get a new line. It wasn't true during Desert Shield-Desert Storm and it's not true now. Have you seen any improvement in oil prices since we invaded Iraq? Have we taken over their oil fields? Have we cut a deal with the Iraqi people to get our oil at a discount? No, no, and NO!!!

BOTTOM LINE: The mainstream liberal media has their own agenda, and it's NOT to report the truth. They are twisting the facts any way they can and reporting the war in Iraq using only the most negative stories they can find because they need something to bash our President with. Did you notice how they have conveniently forgotten how the Democrats voted overwhelmingly FOR the war? Did you also notice that they're now claiming Bush lied, but the bulk of the intel used in the resolution to declare war was gathered during the Clinton Administration? And why is nobody saying anything about the fact that the Sudanese government had Osama bin Laden and offered to hand him over to us (literally on a silver platter) but our former President couldn't be bothered to talk to the Sudanese?

The answer is to revolt against the mainstream media and demand that THEY put the true facts on the table for the whole world to look at, then strip them of their money and assets and use that money to rebuild New Orleans (let them put their money where their collective big fat mouth is).

Suzy que, I don't think anyone should turn on the president. You folks don't seem to understand. It's not about the man, it's about the office. How do you suppose you look to the rest of the world? Here's a silly little person who doesn't respect her leader. What does that say about you. He's just a guy. Some presidents are good and some are bad. Take Bill Clinton for instance. I'll just bet you can overlook his lack of morals can't you? With George Bush you grab at every rumor and think it's truth. You are angry and unhappy and you think you are patriotic and you want Bush out of there. Actually he will be gone in under two years. Then, don't be surprised if another Republican is elected. Don't you see that we see you as seething with your anger? Do you suppose I would elect you as president? Of course not. You can't even think straight . I see the same thing in all the Liberals. I'm not the only one who sees that? . The whole world sees that.

Relax. This is life. It's the only life you are going to get. Is this the way you want to spend it?

Only if you're willing to permanently suspend the Constitution and take your chances with a junta.

Because that's what you'd be doing.

I don't think we should junk what has worked so well for over 200 years.

I'm frankly alarmed that anyone would ask the question.

Our military are making great sacrifices to protect the country. Questions like this one make me wonder whether we merit the sacrifices they have made.

No - unfortunately for the soldiers, they signed up to do whatever the commander in chief tells them to do.

If they revolted against Bush it would be pointless.

The democratic controlled senate will put an end to this, and demand answers to the questions that we've been asking all along.

2006 was the turning point. The rubber stamp cons are gone.

My Nancy, you are out there today aren't you!

Do you understand that you are advocating treason and, what is in effect a military coup?

In addition to the fact that our soldiers and sailors would probably injure themselves laughing at your plan, it really doesn't seem very democratic...now does it.

Some of them have and were fired or resigned. It is very hard to stage a military coup in the United States and I don't know many generals that I would even consider it (except George Patton and Al Haig).

I'd much rather wait about 2 years for a peaceful transition, than live under/enforce marshal law for at least 10 years.

Sorry, this military would be more apt to turn on your before Bush and Cheney. So you think the President and Vice President are sitting in their offices on tons of money? LOL......shouldn't you be paying attention to your teacher instead of being on line?

That's the worst idea I've ever heard. The peaceful transition of power has as much to do with America's rise to superpower as anything else in our government. Look at countries that have military coups- Burma, Uganda, Cambodia, etc. Do we want to become like them?
