What do people use to take those EXCELLENT Smash Bros pics?

You know where you look and it looks like you're looking at a screenshot? I have to take a picture of my tv screen. What are they doing? is it some kind of hookup for GameCube? Can you get the same one for thw Wii?

It's a frame of a video taken with a video capture divice. You could always try hooking it up to a TV with a DVD record. Then record it onto a disk, and ta-da! High quality SSBM.
