There is this person who I had conflict with in the past. I admit I wished bad things on them...nothing seriously bad but just wished for things like they would be exposed for what they really are, maybe experience a little deserved (IMO) tiny bit of humiliation, something like that. Well, today I got my wish. This person was basically outted publicly for being a self centered jerk. The trouble is, I do not feel good like I always dreamt I would if this happened. In fact, I feel kind of sorry for them. This is really bumming me out in a way. Has this ever happened to you?

Kris, you grade people "as a person"??? I think I appreciate what you are saying, but doesn't that kind of send out a call for karma for you? What grade do you give yourself "as a person?"

Well basically I think this means you are a good person. You didn't wish death, famine or disease on them just that they would be exposed for what they are. There is nothing wrong with that it's human nature. I have been waiting for one person who caused me my job to get what they deserve but I don't believe it will ever happen. But if that day does come I can only hope that I will be as humble about it as you are.

yes it has.
i did something kinda worse.
This girl that has been friends with my boyfriend, and disappeared for the 5 years we've been dating.
Showed up out of no where, and thought that she ran sh*t. I always had problems with her.
But then she came up to me and told me. " Sorry I've been giving you dirty looks, I don't like my friends girlfirends."

And for her 21st. My boyfriend COMPLETELY ignoreed me, sat so close to HER they're legs were rubbing against eachothers, and they were play fighting, I turned around to see his head between her legs.
I found out that this is the friend that beat cancer.
So I wished the cancer back.

I finally gave my boyfriend the ultimatum, and she FLIPED when he chose me. She started a HISSY fit in the middle of the day in fromt of his house.

And I got a week long flu.
Those who say Karma isn't real. Obviousely are too obliviouse to see why bad things happen to them.
I still don't like this b*tch though. and I will gladly beat her !@ss

It's never necessary to wish karma on anyone. Nature has a way of making right wrongs in the world. You don't have to do or say anything.

And your compassion only shows that you have admirable character. Sometimes people need to get knocked down from their pedestal.

The thing about Karma is that when you wish something bad on someone else, it F's with your own Karma. You know. But yes, that has happened to me before....revenge may appear to be sweeter than it actually is.

Yes, it has ... and your 'remorse' over this person being 'put in his/her place' may have something to do with YOU and who you 'are' inside a lot more than with 'that person' and how 'bad' you think they are. Go ahead and be 'bummed out' for this person ... for awhile, anyway ... but don't 'feel guilty' about them 'getting what s/he deserves' either, unless you 'actively did it' to him/her. And this isn't 'karma' ... it's just 'good psychology. I'd 'grade you' as a B+ person, striving to be an A++ person, and you're 'definitely getting there.'

I am not an expert in this area, but yes this has happened to me. Not to worry though, because things flow as they should. We all feel some guilt when our "bad wish" actually comes true. Thanks for sharing your concerns. May you have a happy day today and tomorrow and everafter.

Karma is just scored a double shot! Him, and you. Ain't life grand? Now you can reap the lesson from this and use your karmic powers for good, instead of evil!
