Nice try Suzy but you should interview about 1,000 soldiers over there before you make a poor question.

That is not an option.
When you serve in the military you don't have the same rights that we as civilians enjoy. Military personal can be prosecuted under the Uniform Code of Military Justice if they refuse any duty. The UCMJ is much much stricter than the laws we are governed by. The punishment can also be much stiffer.

It is not a soldier's option or inclination to question his commanders, regardless of whether they are right or wrong. That is for others to resolve at another time and another date.
American history is littered with hundreds of battles that, in hindsight, were pointless. However, this does not (nor should it) diminish the role of the troops' contribution or their faith in the leaders. Our military makes better soldiers than our society makes citizens. Thank God for that.

Well since they have no facts (only opinion) to back this up they would be court martialed and could face the death penalty as it would happen during time of war. The facts have been put out but the people that don't like them refuse to believe them.

And why would they do this? Like think about this for a minute, they volunteered to go to war and now they are going to turn around and stike for something they believe in? Does this sound logical?

Well, it would be pretty stupid for our soldiers in Iraq to go on strike. Just because they stop fighting doesn't mean the enemy is going to stop attacking them.

Then some radical, a la Hussein, would take over and the Iraqi people would be right back to being oppressed, tortured, mutilated, murdered and abusers of women.

The soldiers in the U.S. Military do not belong to a union!
lol
Additionally, upon volunteering for service, they take an oath to obey their commander in chief and all lawful orders of their superiors.
But, thanks for asking Nancy!

The military is not unionized, thank God. If they refused lawful orders, I assume they would be court-martialed.
