He should be made aware of it, but ultimately, until men figure out a way to incubate a fetus without hijacking a woman's body for nine months to force her to give birth to a baby she either doesn't want or can't take care of, he really doesn't get much of a say with regard to the abortion itself. It's her body. Whether people like that or not, it's up to her.

I am torn on this issue because as a pro-choice woman, I agree that no one should be able to make that decision for me. But I can see how painful and frustrating it must be to be a man and want your child but have no control over whether or not it is aborted. Unfortunately I do not know how it would be possible to give a father rights in this decision without taking away the rights of a woman in regards to her own body. I am sorry but I don't know how to be fair too both parties involved and in the end it is the womans body.

I think in a serious relationship, the man should have a say in it. If it was rape or a fling, then the man is obviously not included. However, when this happens and the man knows about it it should be a serious talk. There shouldn't be any squabbling or insulting. There is no compromise in abortion. If the man doesn't want the women to have an abortion, he really can't do anything about it. He couldn't tie her to the bed. The man should have a say in it as long as it was serious relationship.

I think it is a personal choice for the woman wether or not she wants to reveal her pregnancy to the man. Ideally, yes, but there are a number of issues involved and so it is something that should not be mandated.

It also really, really bothers me to see that a large number of pro-life postings on this site are done by men.

Given the fact that it is the woman who has to put up with the physical strain of the pregnancy, I think she should have the ultimate decision on the matter.

I do, but in the end it is the woman's body and her choice.
