Yes you can tack it back into the crack using a staple gun if you like.

If you don't want to see staples or nails, make a small hole in the carpet at regular intervals an inject a little bit of silicon in there and then put a weight on to hold it down until it dries!

Get yourself a knee pad, kick the carpet back into place, (restretch it) then, with a rubber mallet, pound it back into place. If that does not work, then you need a new tack board for that side.

I'm a guy, and privately, I don't like long nails. We know a lot of like very long, painted nails cause they're "so pretty", but I don't like them.

you can buy carpet tacks, but will hit your thumb a lot! try to barrow a staple gun and tack it down with that. good luck.

don't use a tack they are short and will come out easy use a long nail and nail it back down.
