If you can get a used video game cheap then get it. They don't wear out. Just be sure that there is a method to reset it so you can start from scratch. Costco is only a couple of dollars less than other stores.

My recomendation is to buy used games from Gamestop or other stores in that chain. They just bought out EB games as well. They have the best waranties on used games and the best service that I've come across. I also think that their set up is the least confusing. It was in there that I found out that it's a better deal to buy a used game because instead of a 7 day guarantee you get a 30 day. They also usually have great prices.

Just an added thought:
Gamestop also offers speacials where you can buy two used games and get a 3rd free which is an amazing deal if you consider the cost of some games.

Costco usually has very limited selection on video games and what they do have is usually the more unpopular games. Also, the prices don't seem to be a real bargain or anything.

My advice, if used isn't an issue, use eBay! Half.com has new and used games and I've never been disappointed with my shipments with them either! DONT USE GAMESTOP! I refuse to go there because of bad customer service! They are rude and don't deserve the business. Just my personal opinion of course. ^-^

I agree, Costco games are the more unpopular and I have had some BAD service by almost EVERY Game Stop I've been in. Used is ok, but check the disc. If there are scratches I wouldn't touch it. But yes, Ebay or Half.com wouldn't be a bad Idea. users are generally very honest in their wares.

NO! It is alot cheaper to use the web to find the cheapest price's elsewhere. In my experiance Costco, Sam's etc.... Are alot more expensive for stuff like that. But if you want a 40lb bag of grapes!

costco has great stuff. but their video game prices are not great.

what is great about costco is their return policy. it is arguably the best policy there is. You can buy the game, open it, play it through and bring it back with no reciept and get your money back.

NO! NO! NO!

Costco, in my opinion, is expensive. And they seem to have only the boring crap games.

I suggest you go to a specialized game store (EB Games/GameStop) for all your needs. They are awesome and have the HOTTEST deals and also have quality used games.

You can also go to Wal-Mart. Has a great selection; they have 3 game bundles for $12.99!

if you must have a brand new game then get it from cotsco - usually cheaper.

If you don't care whether it's new or used get it used -usually chearper and game is usually fine.

The cost of a product to you is not the price you pay at the cash.

Consider the price you pay when a company does not pay its employees living wages, they live in poverty, they end up going on state or federal programs to live and yu and other tax payers end up paying for it.

In other words, tax payers subsidize cheap companies and their stingy salaries and benefits.
