If there's movement, and at times it's good strong movement (depending on how many months along you are), then lack of hiccups isn't a worry. Hiccups are not a sign of good health

Some fetuses have 'hiccups' several times a day, and some don't seem to get them at all. I have never seen or read any 'studies' that 'connect hiccups in utero' with ANYTHING about the baby after it is born ... but you may be just in a stage of 'early pregnancy' and may experience 'hiccups' later ... or you may be 'really lucky' and be carrying a fetus that simply never gets 'hiccups.' As long as your doctor says the 'baby inside' is 'developing normally' then you shouldn't 'worry' just because your baby/fetus doesn't get hiccups.

I felt the hiccups more in the last few months like the 8th and 9th month. As long as you feel some movement, there is a heartbeat from the monitor in the doctor's office and you've had your routine ultrasound and everything was ok, then everything is OK! Congratulations! And don't worry, everything is going to be fine!

When I was pregnant with my son, he didn't ever have hiccups either, as far as I know, there's not adverse side effects to your child not having hiccups in the womb. I would just assume he's digesting and growing nicely! Good luck!

Doesn't seem to be any concern. My wife hasn't noticed any hiccups and the doctor said she is fine. Also My twin nieces, one had hiccups and one didn't and no issues with either.

My daughter never had hiccups until the very end of my pregnancy, so, I wouldn't worry about it. I almost mistook it for kicks, too, so you never know....maybe yours is hiccuping, but you can't tell.

This must be your first baby. Try not to worry about every little thing. As long as the doc says the baby is fine, you should be fine. Rub your belly and he/she will respond it he/she isn't sleeping. Enjoy your pregnancy - talk and sing to the baby. Congratulations to you and God bless the little one!

Be thankful. Some babies just don't get them. My daughter did and it drove me crazy! I am 35 weeks pregnant with my son and he doesn't get them. It's so peaceful!

They might get them and you dont even know it. They could get them while your sleeping or working ..and they could have them and you just cant feel it.
