alot of people believe that if you break a mirror you will have 7 years bad luck, not true, it just means you have a broken mirror. Nail biting causes acne, not true, it just is nasty and makes your hands look gross. This one is true however, if you have the hiccups drink a glass of water from the opposite side of the glass and upside down. try it next time you get the hiccups, it works.

never heard of that one but my sister got her one friend at work to believe that chocolate milk came from brown cows. The girl was like 21!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha
