I'm sure Bonds is all "juiced" up and ready to go. Zito will be so-so and the Giants will have a .500 season.

I'm a die hard Giants fan so I'm hoping for the best this year. Just like every other fan out there, I vision great things happening like going to the playoffs, and possibly a run at the world series.Even when your team doesn't have the best lineup or pitching staff. The reality is the Giants will probably end up in second or third place just like last year. We replaced Schmidt with Zito. Alou with Aurilia, and so on. Nothing really to take us to the next level. I guess our strength is our pitching staff with Zito, Lowry, and Cain. As far as our batting order were in trouble. The high light of our year will be Bonds going after the Hr record, and the All Star game being played in our park.

I'm one of the few people who think the Giants have a very good chance at winning the NL West. They have 5 guys who will hit 20-30 HRs[Durham and Bonds should each hit 30]. The rotation is in great shape-especially if Lowry and Morris bounce back to their 2005 form. Aside from the fact that Barry cant get around in the field too well anymore, everyone else looks solid enough on 'd'. Phenom Tim Lincecum might come aboard late in the season if needed. The only prob they have is their bullpen. Benitez is iffy because of his knee. But the starting 5, plus a solid offense will keep them in contention all season-the Dodgers have no pop in their lineup.[ Giants' dark horse impact player-Eugenio Velez, a 5 tool steal in the rule 5 draft.].

whilst a team is a protecting international sequence champ the expectancies are super for the subsequent season. Now with that stated, the taking part in cards are worse off than final 365 days. The commencing pitching has taken a beating with dropping Suppan and (regrettably, as much as i do in comparison to him) Marquis. Wells had performed for the Pirates and nicely if a participant comes from the Pirates there is not any telling how nicely they are going to do on a significant league team. Mulder is a gentle 2 or 3 starter if he ought to get healthful. a sturdy middle of stable youthful SP in Wainwright and Reyes whether it particularly is going to likely be a 365 days or 2 till now the two of them are on the everyday they're able to. As for the lineup, there's a loss of father interior the bats this 365 days. Edmonds is stricken by submit concussion syndrome and that consequences his plate creative and prescient. Duncan could be super if he ought to hit a lefty. massive Al is huge Al, extra perfect regular by skill of his initals MVP. Eckstein and Encarnacion are ok yet a definate improve is needed at the two positions interior the subsequent 365 days or so. Rolen you won't be able to replace because of the fact of his fielding skills, Gold Glove winner how many situations now? Yadier is probable the main suitable of the three Molinas interior the Majors. A 2d baseman please Mr. Jockety, i'm sorry yet Miles and Kennedy splitting time do exactly no longer decrease it.
