I hate this. I think it to eliminate having more than one account. It adds a Contacts and Fans aspect that is uncomfortable.
Honestly. Please. Do you like it or not?

The top contibutor doesn't really add anything, it was easy to see who was before by just moving the cursor over the avatar. Now it just messed up many users screen names.
I like the contacts because it makes it easy to see questions from your favorite askers, but it looks like most people are using it for some other purpose, like soliciting fans.

Just come on here time from time and this is how i see it:
pros: can tell who answers a lot of questions.
gives you a rewarding orange label? lol
cons: annoying to people
people can post anything and probably get rewarded with a sign lol
tries to force labeling on people that dont want to be labeled
too formal
changes the purpose for answering questions.
makes the avatar look lame cause he has the sign lol
steals a lil of the avatars soul lol
well my conclusion is i think it does more harm them good. I think its a feature which does the opposite of what its suppose to achieve and changes the community. It doesnt change enough things to be regarded as a feature. Well adios

I think it tries to make the rest of us look bad, like we aren't contributing enough or something. This is not a contest, in my opinion. But if it makes them happy.

i don't, but it don't bother me enough not get on here either. you can opt out of the whole contact thing, i read how to do it but i forget what it said.
