Sometimes you just don't feel them. I never felt any rhythmic movements like hiccups, just kicks and squirms. As long as you feel some movement, then the baby's fine.

Not having hiccups are not a problem. Some babies get them a lot in utero and some don't. My daughter often got hiccups, but my son didn't. Every baby is different.
Patterns of movement usually don't become regular until after 27 weeks or so. Then, you should notice times of the day when your baby is regularly active.

My baby would get the hiccups at night when I would lay down to go to sleep, in his last couple weeks. The last night in the hospital I was holding him and he got the hiccups right before I started to put him to sleep.....I cried....it was sweet. It depends on how far along you are if you can feel it or not....but when you do feel it you will know.

Some babies get hiccups, others don't. The same is true of all people. Nothing to worry about. And it is no indication that you are or aren't doing something right.

It wasn't until my second and third daughter that I even felt the hiccups....I didn't even know with my first that it was possible. She is now a very healthy 6 1/2 year old.

Your baby will have hiccups even if you don't notice them yet. It's a natural part of their reflexes that they begin late in pregnancy.
I don't know how far along you are, but you are sure to notice them near the end of your pregnancy.
Don't worry mom!!

don't worry about it. i never knew if either of my children had hiccups while i was pregnant. as long as you feel baby moving more than once a day then you're fine. if you don't feel baby move, then go to the doctor ASAP.
