It doesn't.
It is a very plausible argument if your belief is that life begins at some time after the time abortions are allowed (e.g. life begins at 3rd trimester, at birth, etc.)

As a Conservative liberal Let me say the Government should get out of the bedroom snoop business.
If a woman or man chooses to murder then prosecute them according to the law. No mater who they murder or how they do it.
The Roe v Wade issue has little to do with life and death it is all about business contracts. The Court made pro business decisions over the years that kept government involvement in business at a minimal. the Way the RvW law suite was worded brought many of thees issues to the table.
The Court had no choice RvW is law
But you don't have to kill babies just because you can. I don't duck hunt or kill babies.

I agree 100%
I am opposed to abortion personally
however, I don't think the government should have the right to interfere
Except where George W is concerned,, the government should have demanded that Barbara Bush have two or three
After all it was ok for W's girlfriend to use his money and have one
Why can't other women do the same

And I don't believe it's your place to enforce your morality on another. You have a right to your opinion but that doesn't mean everyone else sees it the same way.
Face it there are always going to be abortions. Would you rather they go back to being done under unsafe conditions by people not suited to preform them? If you answer yes then that shows just how highly you really value life.
Just so you know where I am coming from I am a divorced man whose ex lost a baby through no ones fault. I would have tried to talk my then wife out of an abortion if she had wanted one but would have regretfully acceded to her wished had she been adamant about it.

That don't make you a bad person.
Abortion should never be used as a form of birth control only as a medical procedure to protect the mother.
I've personally known women who had 2 or more abortions simply because they couldn't keep their pants on,didn't know who the daddy was or didn't want their sterile husband to know they'd been bad girls.
Ladies,if you want control of your bodies, fine, just use a little sense.
Doing the Horizontal Hokey Pokey without protection is stupid.

An abortion is up to the woman to decide. I don't see a reason to ban it. If a woman wants one, she will find a way.
Personally, there are certain times when a woman should have the choice (such as health issues) but it really is her choice.
I am in the minority with conservatives on this.

We disagree, but I don't feel that makes you a bad person.
I do wonder why you "don't think women should have abortions" if it's not killing a human. If it IS killing a human, should a woman have that choice in the first place?

It doesn't make you a bad person. You believe in what you believe, and I agree with your stance that women should not have them. It's a slippery slope to me. I don't want the government taking away our freedoms, but I don't want to see women kill babies by aborting them. It should not be allowed, there are many parents who are dying, not literally, to have a baby. These babies can be given to people like them. It should more than likely be regulated by the state, but I cannot condone it nor will I support candidates who do.

I lean to the right, but with issue, I agree with you. I would never condone abortion, but I sure as hell don't think it is the government place to tell a woman what to do with their bodies. The same thing with all the smoking bans and the trans fats bans issue. How far does the government have to go before people realize that we are never going to be TRULY free?

I am not a conservative, but I would like to say that I see nothing wrong with that argument. Blanket laws that affect the entire female population as a whole would not work when the decision and situations are of an individual nature.
